Morris’ General Store

This local General Store, a three storey building, constructed in 1838. Purchased by James Morris in 1860 and operated continually by the Morris family from 1860 until 2022.

Although expanded significantly over the years with the construction of an adjoining modern supermarket, the original building remains in use continuing to offer a broad range of personal and recreational items required by both the local community and travelling public.
