Hillwood Road Meditation Skills Centre

Landmarks and Buildings Spas and Retreats

Not just for meditators, the Hillwood Road Meditation Skills Centre is a place where anyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy the surroundings. The centre is beside a creek and surrounded by hobby farms in a small country town, close to the Tamar River in the quiet beauty of North East Tasmania. The building was once an apple shed in one of the Tamar Valley’s many orchards. The original beams and weatherboards can still be seen. The interior is decorated with original artwork including a three metre high apple mandala.
You are welcome to drop in, make yourself a cuppa, and relax in an armchair. Enjoy the scenery, there is plenty to read and you are welcome to join a class ($5-$10) if one is about to begin. You can ask for a guided tour, guided meditation, or book a session for counselling, deep-state therapy or tuition (fees apply).
We also offer accommodation or retreats nearby. Make it a complete spiritual getaway by spending a few nights in Hillwood and attending a combination of meditation meetings and personal sessions for stress management or spiritual growth. A program can be tailor-made for you or your group. See our website.
