Isle Drive U2 Drink is a business intended to give our customers a day to remember experiencing what a small portion of the beautiful “Apple Isle” has to offer.
We have four wine and beverage tours, Huon Valley, Coal River, Derwent Valley and East Coast. These regions have their own unique characteristics along with spectacular scenery, wineries, distilleries, cider and beer brewers galore.
Our tours take a maximum of four people and are extremely flexible and not rushed.

Services

Huon Valley Wine Region

This tour will take you from Hobart (or your accommodation) to Huonville where you will witness the Huon Valleys spectacular scenery, apple orchards and vineyards.

After tasting some of the Huon’s finest wines and cider it will take you through Cygnet to the Hartz Mountains visiting Hartzview Vineyard and Distillery. Then you can take in the sights of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel with Bruny Island in full view from Mewstone Wines before returning to Hobart.

Wineries, Cider Brewery and Distilleries along the way including, Home Hill Wines, Kate Hill Wines, Elsewhere Vineyard, Heriots Point Vineyard, Two Bud Spur Vineyard, Hartzview Vineyard & Distillery, Mewstone Wines, Willie Smith’s Apple Shed, Pagan Cider, Franks Cider House, Huntington Distillery, Port Cygnet Distillery, Hartshorn Distillery and Grandvewe Cheese.

East Coast Wine Region

This tour will take you from Hobart (or your accommodation) to Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast. At Orford, the East Coast wine region begins. You will sip wine with the Hazards at Freycinet in full view. Sample some amazing cold climate wines with some of the world’s best scenery in the background.

Due to travelling time, this tour may require an early start but it is well worth it.

Wineries & Distilleries along the way : Darlington Vineyard / Devils Corner / Freycinet Vineyard / Gala Estate / Milton Vineyard / Springvale Wines / Kevedon / Craigie Knowe Vineyard / Spring Bay Distillery / The Splendid Gin.

Coal River Valley Wine Region

This tour will take you from Hobart (or your accommodation) through Richmond to the heart of Tasmania’s cool-climate wineries. Coal River Valley is home to some of Tasmania’s finest wines.

Sit back, relax and enjoy some fine wine while learning the art of cool-climate winemaking before returning to Hobart.

Along the way you may visit the following: Puddleduck Vineyard / Pooley Wines / Every Man and His Dog Vineyard / Frogmore Creek / Riversdale Estate / Craigow Vineyard / Coal Valley Vineyard / Pressing Matters / Nocton Vineyard / Clemens Hill.

Derwent Valley Wine Region

This tour will take you from Hobart (or your accommodation) through the Derwent Valley Wine region to Central Tasmania stopping at wineries along the way before visiting the beautiful Lawrenny Estate and an opportunity to taste their gin and whisky.

This tour follows the banks of the Derwent River with its magnificent scenery, vineyards and of course Lawrenny Estate. So sit back, relax and enjoy some fine wine while learning the art of cool-climate winemaking, sip some gin and whisky before returning to Hobart.
