GEORGE TOWN REMEMBERS

The George Town Community remembers and pays tribute to those who served. This collection of honour rolls is on display in the foyer of the Memorial Hall. The names of servicemen and women are recorded on plaques for the “Great War”, Vietnam and Korea and a group board for later conflicts and peace keeping missions.

The Second World War is commemorated with a single panel “In Memory Of Those Who Gave Their Lives And Offered Their Services. The “R & SLA Women’s Auxiliary” panel records the names of office holders of the support group for returned servicemen.
