Mt Owen MTB Trail Network

Sports and Recreation Facilities

The Mt Owen MTB trails in Queenstown provide an experience like no other in the southern hemisphere.

Set against a landscape that is as breathtakingly beautiful as it is wild and raw.

Wherever you go in Queenstown, Mt Owen looms large at an impressive 1,146 m above sea level. On a clear day from the top, gaze towards Frenchman’s Cap, ponder the lost towns lying under Lake Burbury or look West across the Southern Ocean.

These trails are remote and physically demanding, with trails to cover a range of skill levels – however some are not for the faint of heart.

West Coast Tas is putting the mountains back into mountain biking. Take a trip, just outside your comfort zone and experience it for yourself.
