Enjoy a campfire dinner with kangaroos and the ambiance of a crackling campfire while sampling Tasmanian wines before meeting some Tasmania’s endearing wildlife characters focusing on the eastern quoll, pademelon & Bennett’s wallaby, wombat and brush-tail possum.
Day hiking options are available in locations such as the alpine peaks of Ben Lomond and the remote long white beaches of Mt William National Park in the Bay of Fires region. We hunt the elusive but fascinating platypus or tour the spectacular Tamar Valley Pipers River and Tamar Valley vineyard regions while visiting the friendly vineyard tasting rooms
Our Canopy Capers tour offers a nocturnal Tasmanian forest experience. As darkness falls, see the forest come alive with the brush-tail possums descending from the trees and hear the pademelons seek their evening meal.

Tasmanian Tour – Experience two days of the very best of Tasmania’s wilderness, wildlife, landscapes and wines.
Visit the spectacular Ben Lomond showcasing its magnificent Tolkien landscape, travel via forest back-roads to the Tyne Valley for a nature experience reviewed as one of Australia’s best – the Quoll Patrol. Enjoy a campfire dinner and the ambiance of a crackling campfire while sampling Tasmanian wines before meeting some Tasmania’s endearing wildlife characters with a focus on eastern quolls, pademelons, brush-tail possums, Bennett’s wallaby and wombats.
Day two brings the hunt for the elusive but fascinating platypus before relishing the Tamar Valley wines while visiting the friendly vineyard tasting rooms including the sparkling Pipers wine region vineyards of Jansz Tasmania and Delamere. Crossing the picturesque Tamar River we visit the Holm Oak and Tamar Ridge vineyards. Lunch at Velo Vineyard’s Barrel Room Restaurant.
This tour is inclusive of two nights B&B at Beulah Heritage Accommodation in Scottsdale. All meals inclusive

Day 1 – Critter Creek – Enjoy the hunt for the elusive platypus, capture the timeless ambience of Tasmania’s bush, relax to the afternoon sounds of nearby birds, enjoy a campfire dinner and as sun sets wait for some of the local wildlife to stop by…..
Day 2 – Quoll Patrol – Visit Ben Lomond, a spectacular mountain with impressive views. After lunch we visit the world’s tallest white gum trees and walk amongst ancient tree ferns before finishing with a campfire bush tucker dinner and wildlife viewing. Enjoy a glass of Tassie wine and experience one of the best after-dark wildlife shows on offer…..
Day 3 – Narawntapu and Tassie Devils – Narawntapu boasts a rich array of animals including eastern grey kangaroos, wallaby, wombats and bird species. Leaving Narawntapu we travel to the Trowunna Wildlife Park for a private tour to cuddle a wombat and see the Tasmanian devils.
