Arguably the most beautiful waterfall in Tasmania, Liffey Falls is located in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Liffey Falls is collectively a series of cascades, each with its unique beauty and characteristics. The last and bottom most cascade is the most voluminous and picturesque. It takes about 1.5 hours return to walk from the carpark to the last cascade and the walk is not too strenuous. The Liffey Falls walk trail passes through towering eucalypts and massive tree ferns and there are lookout points along the way at different levels of the falls.
Melita Honey Farm – Free tasting of the over 50 honey products of the farm; watch the bees working in the glass beehive.
Trowunna Wildlife Park – (Interactive tour at 11am) Watch devil feeding and if you are lucky enough hand feed a wombat.
Liffey Falls – Walk through towering tree ferns to get to the most beautiful waterfall in Tasmania, stop and take a photo at the Big Tree.
