Tasmanian Devils can be seen at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.

From $160 to $320

Your tour starts with a drive through historic New Norfolk, passing through hop fields, apple orchards and berry farms to Mt Field National Park.
Here you can have a couple of choices of walks depending on how long you wish to walk for. Russell Falls is a short 20-minute walk there and back or I can drop you off at the top of the big tree walk (30-45 minutes) where you can see 75 metre plus hardwood eucalypts, and blackwood, sassafras and myrtle through the park. You will also have the opportunity to view both the spectacular ‘Horseshoe’ and ‘Russell Falls’ (there are quite a few steps down). We will return to either the Park’s café or The Possum Shed Café, at Westerway, for a light lunch.
Our final stop is the famous Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos – get your photo taken with a koala and learn all about the Tasmanian Devil.
We return to Hobart to complete your tour. Your personal and private tour allows for flexibility in itineraries.

The creepy crawly short walk at start of Scotts Peak Road.

From $160 to $310

Your tour starts with a scenic drive through the apple orchards and berry farms of historic New Norfolk and the Hop Fields at Busy Park.
We stop off at either Possum Creek Art Gallery & Café, at Westerway, or Mount Field Visitor Centre for morning tea. Here we will pick up lunch to take away with us for a picnic along the journey or if the cafe is open at Lake Pedder we can enjoy lunch there. (to be discussed on the day)
We then will make our way out to Gordon Dam driving through picturesque roads in view of often snow-capped mountains in the background during the winter months. On your way you will experience some of the highlights of where parts of “The Hunter” was filmed.
You will have the opportunity of taking short walks along the way and the pinnacle of the trip, so to speak, a walk on Gordon Dam (if you have the head for heights).
We will call into Mount Field National Park where you can see the beautiful Russell Falls and some giant Swamp Gums and ferns that thrive in this ancient rainforest.
We will then make our way back to Hobart.

a) Franklin Wooden Boat Centre – The only wooden boat building school surviving in Australia! Guided tour cost is $15 per adult
b) A Huon Jet Boat ride – Ideal for the adrenalin junkie with some interesting facts about the Huon area thrown in. Cost is $80 per adult.
c) Home Hill Wine Tasting – Winner of the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy for Best Wine at Royal Melbourne Show. Cost is around $5 per adult.
d) Willie Smith’s Cider Tasting – Taste a range of cider produced at the orchard and tour a museum of all things apple. Cost is $12 per adult.
With the completion of your selected option we commence the return to Hobart to complete your tour. Your personal and private tour allows for flexibility in itineraries.

Clients posing on lookout at Mt Wellington summit

From $160 to $320

Your tour starts in Hobart with pick-up from your Hotel. We will travel to the summit of Mt Wellington (weather dependent) via a short tour of the city, with magnificent views over Hobart, the Derwent River and beyond (Mt Nelson Signal Station alternative).
We will then visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and see Tasmanian Devils active during the day, wombats, koalas, echidnas, and many bird species, with the opportunity to hand feed kangaroos.
After your nature tour we will visit Richmond, a quaint Georgian Town which claims the oldest operating Catholic Church and the oldest bridge in Australia. There are also many beautiful art and craft galleries to look at if you wish.
Your personal and private tour allows for flexibility in itineraries.

Clients enjoying seafood at Freycinet Marine Farm

From $160 to $310

We will drive to Freycinet NP via Kates Berry Farm with a fantastic array of local produce, berries, chocolates, jams and sauces, and panoramic views out to the magnificent Hazards.
Freycinet National Park is your next stop where you can enjoy a 90-minute return walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout and afterwards a drive to the Cape Tourville Lighthouse with stunning views.
On the return journey we will visit the Freycinet Marine Farm where you could enjoy some beautiful local mussels and oysters, not to mention all the other wonderful seafood they have available for you.
We will then make our way back to Hobart.

Clients viewing a working sheepdog demonstration rounding up sheep

From $210 to $370

Your private tour begins with the drive to Hamilton where Curringa Sheep Farm awaits. You will join a 2-hour farm tour that includes sheep shearing, working farm dogs, viewing crops in season, forest walk and morning tea with fresh home-made scones with jam and cream.
We will then visit a Raspberry Farm in Westerway (Seasonal) before stopping off at the Possum Shed Cafe for a bite to eat and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you may spot a platypus in the local river below.
We will then visit the Mount Field National Park and the beautiful Russell Falls with a short rainforest walk amongst the giant swamp gums of Tasmania. There is the chance to see one of our cute wallabies, the pademelon.
As this is a working farm sometimes the tours are in the afternoon instead which means the day gets swapped around. The Farm tour has a minimum number required before it runs, so you will join in with others if it is running.
With the completion of your selected tour option we commence the return to Hobart to complete your tour. Your personal and private tour allows for flexibility in itineraries.
