Tour starts from Launceston, which gives you much more time compared to Hobart departures. Tour goes via Sheffield, with views of beautiful Mt Roland in the background and the murals. Sheffield holds a mural competition every year and it is famous for its life-like mural paintings. After a short stop, tour continues to Cradle Mt.
At Cradle Mountain we view Pencil Pine Waterfalls, a pleasant, easy walk along the river, called the Enchanted Walk. Then we head to Dove Lake and walk to Glacier Rock.
On the way back, we stop at Chudleigh Honey Farm, where you can taste more than 50 + honey varieties or try the famous honey ice cream (own expense). After that the tour ends in Launceston at about 17: 45

Tour goes via Ross, an historic town famous for its beautifully carved stone bridge built by convicts. It is also home to the Wool Centre of Tasmania. We will have a short visit to the Wool Centre and see old churches and historical stone cottages. The famous Ross Bakery is included in the itinerary. It is the oldest wood-fired bakery still baking breads and pastries in traditional way. Japanese animation characters Kiki and Jiji play a role in this bakery.
Then we head straight to Coles Bay, the entrance to Freycinet National Park. Coles Bay beach is a cool, white sand beach. Then we climb up to Wineglass Bay lookout, that’ll be a challenge but rewarding with spectacular views and an excellent opportunity to get rid of some extra padding.
After that, on the way back to Launceston, still in Freycinet National Park we may stop by an oyster farm and taste succulent fresh oysters to replace lost energy. Oysters or any other food or drink is at your own cost. Tour ends in Launceston at about 17:30
