The Sound Museum Bellerive

Galleries, Museums and Collections

At the Sound Museum Bellerive we collect, preserve and share recorded sound and the equipment used to play these recordings. We specialise in Tasmanian and Australian recordings and equipment.
We have items of World Significance in our collection and strive to have working examples for visitors to interact with and listen to.
The Sound Museum Bellerive is an incorporated body of like-minded people whose interests and aims are to identify, collect and preserve recorded sound, equipment, literature, memorabilia and oral histories of especially Tasmanian origin.
