Awesome above – Even better below!
To watch the seals underwater in their natural environment is a breathtaking experience. Seals are naturally very curious and playful. They love to come up close, swirl around you and show off their skills. Our world-first sea-view platform allows ethical viewing of wildlife without intimidating the animals. No need to get changed or worried about the cold. We supply toasty warm dry-suits that you wear on top of your clothes. Geared with mask and snorkel, you’re ready to dip your face under the water surface and immerse yourself into a different dimension.
Tours are limited to small groups of maximum 12 people and include a 3 to 4 hour scenic boat trip, all equipment, free USB with underwater photos and videos, homemade Tasmanian treats, a donation towards marine and wildlife conservation projects and the option to see our baby wallabies that we raise after being orphaned (animals health permitting).
Departures are daily at 0900 from September to June. Meet at the Wild Ocean Tasmania HQ in Eaglehawk Neck.
On this 2 hour boat tour, we take you along the impressive coastline of Tasman National Park between Eaglehawk Neck and Cape Hauy, which is famous for it’s fascinating sea stacks, the ‘Candlestick’ and the ‘Totempole’.
With our small adventure-style vessel, we can nose deep into caves and arches and get you inches away from some super cute Fur Seals. Look out for rare sea birds, fins or blows. Dolphins and Albatrosses are a common sight on our trips. Southern Right and Humpback whales migrate past our coastline between the months of June and December and even Orcas can be spotted at times. Anything is possible, every day brings a chance for a very special experience. We are always up for a detour to make your time in Tasmania an unforgettable one!
