Junction Arts Festival

Community Event Concert or Performance Festivals and Celebrations Food and Wine

5 Sep 2018 to 9 Sep 2018

Now in its eighth year, Launceston’s Junction Arts Festival is an intimate festival of ‘extraordinary experiences in unusual spaces’, which under Creative Director Greg Clarke and the Junction team, has a new focus on presenting and celebrating the incredible talent of Tasmania’s amazing artists.
Junction’s festival hub in and around the stunning 19thcentury Prince’s Square, features the Fountain Bar showcasing Tasmania’s finest musicians and bands, delicious Tasmanian food and award winning wines and the Prince’s Palace featuring children’s shows and award winning cabaret.
Nightlight is a highlight of the Junction evening program in which visitors self-guide themselves around Prince’s Square in their own time and discover fascinating site-specific art installations and performances in the surrounding churches, halls, car-parks and shops that ring the Square.
