For the fifth year, the nipaluna/Hobart Language day is a celebration of languages diversity in Hobart.
The Language Day will be on Saturday 30 March, 10 a.m-2 pm in the Parliament Lawns, Salamanca. We will have activities for kids and adults, such as such as traditional music and instruments, readings, poems in different languages, calligraphy in different alphabets and dances, etc.
This year, we topic is indigenous languages to celebrate the International Year of Indigenous Languages, declared by the United Nations. We will workshop/speeches about other languages and indigenous languages. All languages are welcome!
