Activities include stretching, mindfulness and a tea ceremony. Entrance to the beautiful Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens is included in the ticket price.
Shinrin Yoku/ Forest Bathing originated in Japan as a public health practice and can help to reduce stress, improve mental health and benefit immune function.
Who: Walks are suitable for adults with moderate fitness, who can walk slight inclines.
Meet: In the car park outside the tea rooms 5min before event start time.
Bring: Warm clothing, sun protection (as we move slowly), drinking water, a raincoat to sit on.
Guide Elspeth Brock has worked for many years in therapeutic horticulture and is now a certified Forest Therapy guide with the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance.
Includes entry to the Rhododendron Gardens.
