Tasmanian Artist and Makers of the Huon – Art and Wine Trail

Food and Wine

4 Dec 2020 to 6 Dec 2020 Once Only Event

Spring has sprung and the Artists and Makers of the Huon Valley have joined forces with two local wineries to welcome visitors to the Huon Valley just in time for the Holidays.
Tasmanian Artists and Makers of the Huon started as a virtual art trail on Instagram and Facebook two years ago with the idea to feature and promote professional Artists in the Huon Valley. This year we are teaming up with two of the valleys premium wine makers and flinging open the actual doors to our studios and cellar doors for tastings. This will be a rare opportunity to visit some of the secret studios hidden away in the valley and visit the artists in their creative environments. A chance to talk to them about what inspires their work and buy special pieces direct from the artist.
Over three days, December 4-6, 2020 the cellar doors of the two wineries and 8 participating art studios will be open from 10am to 4:00 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for an opportunity to stop in and sample the wines and the art works. There will be maps with studio locations available at each location. Or you can visit our web page with an interactive map and participating artist information.
