Join us for the third annual Very Short Film Festival held on Friday 26 May at Spring Bay Mill – a sustainable events venue on the east coast of lutriwita/tasmania.
Be the first to see some of the best short films from across Australia at this premiere screening event. Don’t miss out on this chance to mingle with filmmakers, film cinephiles and industry giants including legendary actors Essie Davis and Marta Dusseldorp.
There will also be special screenings of this year’s Oscar nominated short animation ‘An Ostrich Told Me the World is Fake and I Think I Believe It’ by Australian filmmaker Lachlan Pendragon; and Australian Mongrels by Rocco Fazzari, finalist for the Migrant Voices Film Challenge in the recent Santiago Latino Film Festival.
Premiere Screening Event: Friday 26 May 2023, 5.30pm
– Event includes screening of the nominated films as well as a special screening of award-winning Australian short films; award ceremony; dinner and live music.
– The evening will be hosted by Matilda Boseley from the Guardian Australia
