21 Jun 2018 to 28 Jun 2018
Their event, a road trip of sorts, is called Yarn Ramble Tasmania 2018. It’s a wonderful way to showcase both the textile industry and Tasmania as a holiday destination.
It begins in Hobart on June 20 (amongst the mayhem of Dark MOFO) and finishes in Launceston on Thursday June 28, travelling through Oatlands, Tarraleah and Cradle Mountain and more.
They offer accommodation (twin share), transport throughout the eight days, some meals and textile workshops. It is an event with textile enthusiasts in mind but would also suit lovers of fine food and wine and travellers who love magnificent scenery.
They like to find out the story behind the product. How the passion and creativity drives an artisan to produce a beautiful finished product. They believe this trip is of interest to both Tasmanians and mainlanders.
