Charles Reuben Estate

Breweries

Charles Reuben Estate Distillery, Vineyard, Lavender Farm and accommodation is located at Tea Tree in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley wine region. Tea Tree is a five-minute drive north-west of Richmond (8 km) and a 30-minute drive north of Hobart (35 km).
Established in 1990, the four-hectare/ten acre Charles Reuben Estate vineyard has plantings of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling in addition to other Bordeaux varieties.
Since May 2019 Charles Reuben Estate is also producing fine spirits on-site with a speciality German-made distillery. From December 2019 our cellar door will be open daily.
In September 2014, renovations of the ‘Pinot Cottage’ concluded and it is now available as tourist accommodation. The ‘Pinot Cottage’ is a secluded self-contained weatherboard cottage on the vineyard with two bedrooms, full European kitchen, spa and wood fire.
Since 2015 Charles Reuben Estate also grows high quality Lavender varieties for oil production and culinary use. The lavender is in full bloom in December.
