Stonesthrow Launceston

Restaurant and Cafe

Moments from the CBD, miles from anywhere.  A slice of wilderness featuring a wetlands reserve, walking trails, animal encounter farm and of course, the farm cafe.
Stonesthrow is owned and operated by the Dornauf family. A family with a rich history in premium Tasmanian food production having farmed dairy cows in the Meander Valley for three generations and now owners of the delicious Hillwood Berries, Hillwood Farmgate and the renowned Tacos de Pancho food van.
Along with being the place to eat with the most picturesque views in Launceston, Stonesthrow also gives visitors a taste of the country with animal encounters, beautiful natural walks around the lake and bush, farm produce used in the café and products to purchase such as house-made jams.
