An escape from the city heat in the summer months, wood fires and bracing walks in winter, and the glory of autumn and spring – Braeside Mt Macedon Country Retreat is an all-season delight.

Ideal for a romantic getaway or exploring the beautiful Macedon Ranges, do as little or as much as you like. Lie in, read a book by the fire, catch up on a DVD or venture out to explore the local villages, gardens and nurseries, have a picnic at Hanging Rock or visit one of the wineries in the region.

Braeside Mt Macedon is home to abundant wildlife with kangaroos, parrots, ducks, rabbits and many native birds amongst the daily visitors.

Three comfortable self-contained cottages are dotted throughout the English-style cottage gardens. Complimentary breakfast hampers include free range eggs, locally cured bacon, freshly baked bread, homemade granola, yoghurt, homemade jam, fresh juice, tea and coffee.

Jim’s Cottage is a cosy and private retreat, ideal for a romantic evening or relaxing country getaway. The cottage has a large bedroom with King bed, an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, separate lounge with wood heater, television and DVD. Inside and outdoor dining set in a large garden. A hamper of breakfast provisions are provided to enjoy at your leisure. The cottage can be configured as a twin and has an additional sofa bed.

Denise’s Cottage is a quintessentially charming private country retreat set within Braeside Mt Macedon’s beautiful gardens. The cottage has two bedrooms with one king bedroom and a second bedroom with a double and single beds. There is a full kitchen with separate lounge and dining areas overlooking the gardens and grazing kangaroos. Denise’s Cottage is fully self-contained and includes a complimentary hamper of breakfast provisions.
