High Country Outlook B&B is the perfect place to unwind. Come and relax in this self-contained adults-only private retreat set high on a hill above Yackandandah, a picturesque heritage-listed goldrush town in the Victorian High Country.

You will receive generous breakfast provisions offering your preferred bread and milk choices, eggs, various condiment and beverage selections, along with a fruit-basket, sweet treats and snacks for when you’re feeling peckish.

Wander through the main street, exploring the quaint shops and eateries only a kilometre from your door. Take in the beauty of the surrounding hills while sipping on your favourite beverage on the front porch, or meander along the creek at the bottom of the hill. There are miles of walking trails as well as the new rail trail to Beechworth, and dozens of mountain bike tracks only ten minutes away.

An Oasis Room with a heated magnesium pool offers skin care without the worry of sunburn or bugs. Please be aware the pool is not heated in winter, however, they offer cheaper rates over the colder months. Your exclusive suite is attached to the main home and privacy is guaranteed, while the pool is shared with your hosts. They also offer storage for mountain bikes and have two bikes that can be hired for $20 per person per stay.

Guests have exclusive use of the private retreat.

Three cereal choices, eggs, fruit/snack baskets, butter, milk and bread and a sweet treat are provided.

There is an open-plan lounge/dining nook with a dining table, rocker-recliners, a large-screen television and DVD player, book, DVD and games libraries, a detailed compendium, maps and local business pamphlets.

The kitchenette contains crockery, cutlery, utensils, cups, glassware, picnic basket, thermos, plastic containers, colander, grater, coffee plunger with ground coffee and coffee and teabag choices, mixing bowl, full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, electric frypan, slow cooker, single hot plate, saucepans, toaster, kettle, oil and condiments.

Your bedroom has a queen-sized bed with quality linen, electric blankets, blanket box with extra pillows and blankets, bedroom chair, walk-in robe with plenty of storage and coathangers, massage pad, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and first-aid kit.

The ensuite has a large shower with toiletries, a vanity and a separate toilet.

Your area has ducted heating/air-conditioning as well as a portable column heater and overhead fans.

There is an outdoor alfresco area on the front porch for guests’ exclusive use and another in the swimming pool area.

The area is a smoke-free zone. No parties are permitted.

Minimum two-night bookings. Linen supplied and breakfast provisions provided for up to three days. $40 deep cleaning fee per booking. Overnight prices decrease on stays of four or more nights.

Winter: $125 per night.

School Holidays, Easter, Christmas and NYE public holidays: $175 per night.

All other dates: $150 pn.
