Honu Honi Surf Camp
Where To Stay Torquay, Surf Coast, Victoria
Honu Honi Surf Camp is a little pocket of fun, relaxation and good vibes located on the Great Ocean Road, close to the iconic Bells Beach.
Honu Honi Surf Camps are all-inclusive experiences. They provide your accommodation, all meals, surf lessons, yoga classes, surf theory, boards and wetsuits, and ridiculously high levels of stoke. This camp is for the ones who want to surf, not just stand up once or twice. They have camps running for both complete beginners, as well as for the more seasoned punter.
Their accommodation consists of huge five metre bell tents which provide loads of space for up to four occupants at a time. They provide all of your bedding to make sure that you’re super cosy as you drift off to sleep listening to the waves rolling at the beach.
Honu Honi Surf Camp is a one and a half hour drive from Melbourne city and Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport, and 41 minutes from Avalon Airport. Public transport access is possible to get to camp from Melbourne (train and bus – two hours travel time), however the bus service only runs a couple of times a day. They are happy to help line up bus times for you, and can also potentially arrange a pick up service from the closest train station for an additional fee (subject to availability).
