Gippsland Cycling Tours operate self-guided fully supported cycle tours from two to 28 days in the beautiful Bass Coast and Gippsland hinterland. Cycle at your own pace. Start and stop when you want – there are no guides or schedules. Finish the day at your carefully selected accommodation where your luggage awaits.

Relax on the quiet country roads

Cycle through amazing countryside and wonderful old towns to the spectacular coast and then back through historic old settlements on quiet roads through the rolling green hills of Gippsland.

This five day tour takes you on a wonderful journey to all parts of the Anderson wild cattle run set up by Anderson in the 1830’s. The scenery is amazing and varied. It has everything from old historic settlements to wonderful mountains to foodie towns to small hamlets sitting right on the beach. You will love the journey from the rolling country to the wild Bass coast.

You have five days cycling, averaging around 40 kilometres each day, with an option to do some or all of the George Bass Coastal Walk which starts at Kilcunda with its fantastic views, amazing headlands and protected coves. You have plenty of time to swim at the beaches, stop in cafes, stay in old country towns, cycle through reserves, sample local produce, explore museums or simply relax. Every day is different, you will love it.

You can look forward to lovely accommodation each night alongside the beach or in lovely, quiet, country towns. You are assured of a warm welcome each night.

A cycle tour which takes in the wild coastal scenery along the Bunurong Cliffs Coastal Park and the wonderful Great Southern and Bass Coast Rail Trails. This six day tour allows you to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the Bass Coast and rural Gippsland.

Travelling by bicycle on Rail Trails, quiet roads and cycle paths this tour takes you to some of the most beautiful places on the scenic Bass Coast through to the lush green rolling foothills of the Gippsland Strzelecki Ranges and the historic old towns where nothing much has changed except they are now centres for art galleries, craft stores and local produce markets.

You have six days cycling, averaging around 45 kilometres each day. So that leaves you plenty of time to swim at the beaches, visit wineries, stop in cafes, love Art Galleries, sample local produce, wander through museums, or simply relax. Every day is different, you will love it.

Take the back road to the wild beaches of Phillip Island

This self-guided, fully supported cycle tour lets you experience the Bass Coast and Great Southern Rail Trails at your own pace. Stop whenever you want. You will start on Phillip Island and cycle through the hidden bush and beaches to the amazing Bass Coast Rail Trail with its huge trestle bridge, wild coastal scenery and then join the Great Southern Rail Trail as it travels through the arty, foodie towns with rolling dairy country and views to Wilson’s Promontory.

You have four days of cycling averaging around 32 kilometres each day with an option to do all or some of the George Bass Coastal walk, which starts at Kilcunda with its fantastic views, amazing headlands and protected coves. You have plenty of time to swim, play on the sand, stop in cafes, enjoy the parks, take in the Art Galleries, sample the local produce, explore old time country towns, have fun at Amaze’n’things, enjoy the museums or simply relax. Every day is different and you will love it.

The Bass Coast Rail Trail is the only coastal rail trail in Australia

This three day tour allows you to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the Bass Coast and rural Gippsland. Travelling by bicycle on Rail Trails, quiet roads and cycle paths this tour takes you to some of the most beautiful places on Phillip Island and the scenic Bass Coast with vistas of the lush green rolling foothills of the Gippsland Strzelecki Ranges. You will have a chance to experience what life was like for the Miners of the early 1900’s in the State Coal Mine at Wonthaggi where you can go on an underground tour.

You have three days cycling, averaging around 20 kilometres each day, with an option to do some or all of the Bass Coast Walk which starts at Kilcunda with its fantastic views, amazing headlands and protected coves. You have plenty of time to swim in one of the many beaches, play on the sand when there are no swimming flags, stop in cafes, enjoy the parks, take in the Art Galleries, sample the local produce, have fun at Amaze’n’things, enjoy the museums or simply relax.
