Australian Light Horse Memorial Park

Landmarks and Buildings

The Australian Light Horse Memorial Park was Victoria’s largest army base, the Seymour Camp is known to many as site 17.

Relics scatter the area and Anzac Hill offers 360 degree views of the beautiful surrounds. Late winter is the time for the park’s wildflower show.

Golden Wattle, Goodenias, red Running Postmen, purple Fringe Lily, masses of orange Egg and Bacon, and stunning native orchids including Purple Bearded Orchid and Wax Lipped Orchid scatter the parklands.
