Tours range from one to eight days. Typically, on multi-day tours you will cycle on average 50 kilometres. There is plenty of time for you to learn and experience what each destination has to offer and to travel at a pace that you feel comfortable.

Most Bespoke Cycle Tours are supported; some including guiding, but there are also self-guided tours as part of the Bespoke Cycle Tours program.

This seven-day itinerary delivers some of the most enjoyable cycle touring in Australia at a relaxed pace. Plenty of time to appreciate the beauty of the Alpine Valley and the fertile plains stretching out to the Murray River. The High Country region has a strong agricultural sector including hops, chestnuts and walnuts, apples and wine grapes. You’ll hear about the bushranger Ned Kelly and meet with earthy farmers winemakers and other locals; passionate about the region and their endeavours.

You’ll cycle on average 50 kilometres per day with over 70 per cent of the distance on rail trails. The backup vehicle provides full support throughout the tour. Plenty of time to relax with two nights in each of Bright, Beechworth and Rutherglen. All accommodation is centrally located to enjoy quaint shops; cafes, restaurants, and cultural attractions. You will enjoy dining at a selection of the region’s best restaurants; along with picnic and winery lunches and leisurely breakfasts always with a good coffee at hand.

During this six-day tour, you will average 50 kilometres per day on predominantly quiet roadways with plenty of time to visit local attractions and meet a range of locals each with a fine story to tell.

Enjoy two nights in Daylesford: take the waters, explore the many cultures and sample the town’s culinary delights. Castlemaine has a strong arts community so relax with a morning to absorb the town’s artistic vibe and meet some of its artisans. Explore Maldon; the town exudes 1800s history, and it is said to be Australia’s best-preserved gold mining town.

Spend a night at Maryborough in the wonderfully restored Bull and Mouth Hotel, a notable example of the Edwardian Baroque style of architecture.

Meeting with interesting locals is always a highlight of any Bespoke Cycle Tour and this tour is no exception. Winemakers, artists and farmers are some of the characters you will meet. Most meals are included, and great care is taken to ensure your culinary experiences are another tour highlight.
