Black Cat Truffles by Liam Downes is the perfect destination for truffle lovers and foodies alike! Their 20-acre farm is located in the beautiful Central Highlands, just 15 minutes from Ballarat.

Their Truffle Hunts are a unique and unforgettable experience. They guide you through their truffière as you see the truffle dogs in action, harvest truffles and then return to the warmth of the restaurant and be treated to a chefs selection menu from award-winning chef Liam Downes.

The 2024 winter truffle season begin on June 15th with options including a winter truffle experience lunch consisting of a 45-minute truffle hunt, bubbles on arrival to the restaurant and a six-course chef selection featuring the best local produce and plenty of black cat truffles.

Their Friday long lunches feature an ever-changing al a carte menu of local produce (bookings essential). Sample a range of delicious truffle-infused products from their providore in the beautiful restaurant adjacent to the truffiere.
