The Blue Lotus Water Garden is located in Melbourne’s beautiful Yarra Valley and is famous around the world for the seasonal display of magnificent lotus flowers and other exotic blooms.
The tropical themed water gardens span over 50,000 square metres with dozens of ponds and two lakes, amazing fountains and wonderful walks where you will see thousands of flowering plants.
Visitors will also experience a number of spectacular garden attractions like the world renown Giant Waterlilies, on show in the new Tropical World complex.
So bring the family, you can have a picnic by the lake or in the fairy garden. Or, try a culinary delight at the Lily Pond Cafe.
It is recommend visitors allow a minimum of two hours to see all the wonderful vistas and attractions.
Garden attractions include Giant Amazon and Victoria Lilies, Tropical World complex, Claude Monet waterlily display and Monet’s lake, lotus lake walk, lotus wetland walk, bridge walk, the lucky golden lotus, little Yarra river trail, ancient 2,000 year old Japanese lotus and the fairy garden.
Facilities include the Lily Pond Cafe, kiosk, plant and flower nursery, gift shop, garden shop, picnic shelters, barbecues, group gavilions, fairy garden, disabled amenities and on-site parking.
