The Kilcunda Challenge and Cruise Tours commence at the Kilcunda carpark overlooking the stunning coastline of the Bass Coast towards Wilson Promontory.
The Kilcunda Challenge Tour starts by crossing the famous Kilcunda wooden railway bridge and follows the old railway trail that was the path for transporting brown coal in the early 1900s when the area provided the State’s supply. It then veers off towards the mouth of the Powlett, past Victoria’s Desalination Plant and under the enormous wind turbines. The Tour begins moderately to allow participants to familiarise with the Mountain E-Bikes and then ramps up with narrow, winding, bumpy and sandy trails. Best of all you’ll ride on some of the most spectacular beaches in the world (duration dependent on tide) and feel the rawness and tranquility of this magnificent coast.
The Kilcunda Cruise Tour follows the scenic old Coal Railway Trail to Anderson’s roundabout. From there it heads left on the undulating bike trail all the way to San Remo and the magnificent bridge to Phillip Island. The coastal views of this Tour our outstanding and follow you all the way.
