A supportive and engaging atmosphere is created for people to learn at their own pace. Whether this is your first time surfing or you are looking to progress your skills, East Coast Surf School can tailor lessons to suit your needs. Individuals and groups are welcome.
East Coast Surf School can create programs that include social occasions, surf camps, birthday parties, progressive lessons or any other individualised surfing experience. All they require is that you can swim. All the necessary equipment is supplied, including boards, wetsuits, booties and helmets.
The East Coast Surf School team are fully qualified, fun, friendly and enjoy teaching surfing because they all love to surf themselves.
Born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula, Prue and the team have been operating the school for over 20 years. Most lessons are based at Point Leo however depending on the best and safest conditions, they may be held at any of the magnificent surf beaches on the Mornington Peninsula.

The sheltered, calm and gentle waves of Point Leo are the perfect location to learn to surf. Prue and her coaches call Point Leo and the magnificent beaches of the Mornington Peninsula home for East Coast Surf School.
East Coast Surf School can tailor programs to suit individuals or group lessons including corporate social occasions, hens and bucks parties, surf camps, birthday parties, progressive lessons or a surfing experience.
All equipment is supplied with safe, soft and stable surfboards that are easy to balance, paddle and surf on for beginners. Full length wetsuits, booties and helmets are also provided.
All levels of surfers.
All you need to bring is bathers, sunscreen and a drink, as well as several dollars in coin to pay a small parking fee required at the gate of the various lesson locations during the summer period.
