The Furphy Museum is the only museum of its type in the world, exploring 150 years of history of the Furphy brand. There are many Furphy collections in the world, but there is only one Furphy Museum, and that statement isn’t a furphy.

The most distinctive product to carry the Furphy brand is the farm water cart. Conceived as a dedicated implement for water transportation, the Water Cart found a ready market when created in the 1880’s.

Located at the new MOVE – Museum of Vehicle Evolution (approximately two hours drive from Melbourne), the Furphy Museum takes visitors on a 150 year journey through time – from the early days of Furphy in Kyneton, Victoria to the modern era and a look into the diverse Australian business today.

The Museum is housed with MOVE (Museum of Vehicle Evolution), the Farren Bicycle Collection, and the Loel Thomson Clothing Collection – see all these amazing collections under one roof, open 10:00am to 4:00pm daily.
