Gallery 127

Gallery 127 is located in the recently transformed, and heritage-listed Avoca Railway Station building. The Gallery reopened in January 2021 following closure due to Covid-19 restrictions and now exhibits a new display of local and regional artwork.

Gallery 127 presents exhibitions of paintings, photographs and sculptures by local and regional artists and features monthly solo exhibitions by individual artists in the exhibition rooms.

Local history displays, workshops and artist studio spaces are also available together with a permanently operated community plant nursery that is situated on the station’s platform.

Managed by Avoca Community Arts and Gardens Inc, the gallery provides an exceptional space to exhibit works by well known and up and coming artists.
