Great Ocean Road Tours is an exclusively Private Tour company. They specialise only in the Great Ocean Road (in particular – multi-day tours), so you can be comfortable in the knowledge you have a guide who is a local expert in that region.

This award-winning operator offers a range of one, two and three-day tours for up to a maximum of five passengers, making them the perfect choice for couples or small groups wanting a more personalised and private experience.

Services

Great Ocean Road Tours offer exclusively private tours for one to five guests. Their experienced drivers are very knowledgeable of the local area and can cater tours to meet your requirements. They offer day tours and multi-day tours stopping off overnight in the town of Apollo Bay – the mid-way point for the the Great Ocean Road.

Their comfy brand new 2018 vehicles have all the latest safety tech, with the added luxuries of air conditioning, privacy blinds, tinted windows with added UV protection, complimentary on-board Wi-Fi and bottled water.

Your personal driver and guide will greet you personally and whisk you off towards the start of the Great Ocean Road. Stopping all the main highlights of the main coastal section including Bells Beach, Split Point Lighthouse and Kennet River.

A lunch-stop will be made in the pretty coastal township of Apollo Bay. Snack/coffee stop in the small township of Forrest, before the journey back to your Melbourne hotel/accommodation.

Note that this express tour only covers The Great Ocean Road up until as far as Apollo Bay, and DOES NOT pass by the Twelve Apostles or Port Campbell National Park. Should you wish to visit these attractions, it is strongly recommended you book their one, two or three day tour options.

You will stop at all the main highlights of this coastal section.

Bells Beach, one of the world’s most famous surfing beaches and home of the Rip Curl Pro is the first stop. Split Point Lighthouse follows, with a great vantage point over gorgeous deserted beaches.

You then pass by the Memorial Arch where your guide will delve into the history behind the road, followed by a search of the kennet river area for wild parrots and koalas.

A lunch-stop will be made in the pretty coastal township of Apollo Bay, where you can sample some of the local delicacies, such as the Scallop pie.

After lunch, you will then be driven deeper into the Great Otway National Park where you will get the chance to take a guided walk around a magnificent Rainforest.

Then the tour heads straight to Gibson Steps and Loch Ard Gorge, before finally arriving at the Twelve Apostles. Then journey back to Melbourne hotel/accommodation.

En-route you will stop off at a popular wildlife park, to meet some of Australia’s iconic animals, including a unique opportunity to hand feed kangaroo’s in a natural environment.

Next, onto Phillip island where you will head onto Churchill island, The Koala Conservation Centre, The Nobbies Centre (home to Australia’s largest fur seal population.) and then of course, The Penguin Parade.

On day two head to The Great Ocean Road via car ferry, stopping along the long the way at Bells Beach and Split Point Lighthouse whilst keeping lookout for native wildlife including koalas, kangaroos and native parrots.

On day three, you will take a guided tour through The magnificent Great Otway National Park, stopping at lookouts, waterfalls and wild koala habitats.

Lunch stop in the coastal hamlet of Apollo Bay, before visiting ancient rainforests, river mangroves and of course some of the rock formations such as The Twelve Apostles which make this area so famous. Travelling back along the coast to Melbourne CBD via picturesque farming communities.
