Discover the wonderful birds of Baw Baw with our local guide and author, Peter Ware. Our tour will visit two local bird hot spots and seek out the local inhabitants. We will be on the look out for birds like the Eastern Yellow Robin and the Spotted Pardalote and with over 100 species in this area there will be lots to see.
Pictured is the Eastern Yellow Robin one of the most iconic bird of Baw Baw. Often accommodating of bird watchers and photographers as they sometimes cling to a tree and seem to be saying, “Look at me”.
On our last tour we found a black shouldered kite and a tawny frogmouth.

Travelling in comfort, we will pick you up from your door (pick up around Drouin and Warragul area) and take you to a selection of factory outlet stores like Gabee in Notting Hill and Florshiem in Springvale. Then onto the Moorabin DFO centre with a huge range of outlets to browse through at your leisure.

Marvel at the giants trees as the bus meanders through avenues adorned with superb elms, oaks, planes and other exotic trees. With over 100 species of birds which roost, feed or nest in the trees of Drouin you are sure to be dazzled by their colour and their song.
Your local guide Peter Ware, will share expert knowledge and local stories of these magnificent trees and their inhabitants.
