Treat yourself to a three day private small group tour of provincial Victoria’s King Valley with Italian Delights Tours
During the Si Mangia Bene tour, guests will experience an indulgent weekend of fine food, wine and warm King Valley hospitality. During the tour, guests will be staying at the beautiful 4.5 star Erindale Guest House. Pick-up is either from a pre-arranged Melbourne address or Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.
On Friday evening enjoy a lovely dinner together at Beechworth’s award winning Provenance restaurant. Saturday, the tour heads to Milawa for a cellar door tasting at Brown Brothers before moving to the King Valley’s Chrismont and Dal Zotto Wineries for a winery tour and wine tasting respectively. On Saturday evening, after having a fun filled day out in the King Valley, enjoy an evening meal at Simone’s in the charming town of Bright.
Sunday morning kicks off in the mid-late morning with a tasting at Sam Miranda winery and then a lunch visit to the Milawa Cheese factory, where guests enjoy a free lunch prior to heading back to Melbourne or Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.

Stock your pantry with great quality Italian products and visit iconic Lygon Street where you will find some ‘special treat’ food items such as fresh pasta, cotechino, fresh quail and delicious pastries. The first stop is an iconic Italian supermarket where they recommend to buy salumi, dry pasta, parmigiano cheese, coffee and wine.
You are then taken to a wonderful butcher from the Friulian region of Italy which stocks fresh quail, great cotechino, friulian sausages, prosciutto and lots more. Across the road is a divine fresh pasta shop which has been owned by the Omizzolo family since 1986. It is one of the first truly fresh pasta manufacturers and retailers in Australia.
The last stop is at one of the best Italian pasticcerias or pastry shops in Melbourne. Here guests can choose to try or buy a delicious treat from the huge range of pastries, cakes and biscuits on offer. After the shopping guests can enjoy a casual lunch at the many great Italian cafes and restaurants in Lygon Street, before the tour concludes (not included in price of tour).
