Phillip Island Helicopters operate scenic flights over the impressive coastline of Phillip Island. Departing the airport and heading North-West for Cowes; this is a great flight to see the diversity of Phillip Island.
Upon reaching the coast east of Cowes, passing the jetty and beach at this very popular holiday destination. Continuing on past Red Rocks Point then Ventnor we pass a series of reefs before the spectacular Nobbies and Seal Rocks come into view.
On the way back to the airport, pass the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.

Phillip Island Helicopters full island tour departs from the airport, turning left at the coast for Cape Woolamai and following the Woolamai Surf Beach, regarded as one of the best surf beaches in the country, before flying around the Cape itself.
Fly over the water towards the San Remo Bridge with great views of San Remo and Newhaven. Following the coast to Rhyll and it is Inlet where migratory birds fly thousands of kilometres to feed. Next is Cowes, Red Rocks Point then Ventnor before the spectacular Nobbies and Seal Rocks come into view. Seal Rocks are home to Australia’s largest colony of fur seals.
Then heading east, fly past Summerland beach, home to the World famous Penguin Parade then onto Pyramid Rock and the Moto Grand Prix circuit, then wave to the swimmers and surfers on Smiths beach and Surfers Point before returning to the airport.

Departing from the airport, Phillip Island Helicopters takes you along the rugged coastlines of Phillips Island, starting with Cape Woolamai.
Along the way you will fly past Woolamai Surf Beach, one of the best known surf beaches in the country and its life saving club, before flying around the Cape itself.
This is the highest point on the island and home to the Pinnacles and the old Granite Quarry. The flight then heads for the San Remo Bridge.
You will see the fishing boats moored in San Remo before turning around Newhaven. Then it is onto Churchill Island with its historic homestead, then back to the airport.

Depart the heliport to the Southeast and fly around magnificent Cape Woolamai. From here, the helicopter will track the coast, passed the Punchbowl and onto Kilcunda. Out to the left you will have a perfect view of the old trestle bridge. With the wind turbines in view, continue until you will be able to see Victoria’s largest infrastructure project, the Victorian Desalination Plant.
Following the pristine beaches of Bass Coast, fly until you reach the protected waters of Anderson Inlet which are found in the popular tourist destination of Inverloch. Did you know Inverloch is also known for the discovery of Australia’s first dinosaur bone.
Turning around we track inland heading for home this time taking in the gorgeous rural views that the Bass Coast provides.

Phillip Island Helicopter takes you south in this scenic flight, before turning right at the coast for world famous Grand Prix track.
Along the way you will pass Smiths beach and Surfers Point and then start to head inland for a circuit around our famous track, home to the Australian Moto Grand Prix, World Superbikes and the Phillip Island V8 Supercars as well as numerous other races.
You will do a lap of the circuit before returning home via the coast.

Depart the airport in a North-West direction passing Rhyll, then onto Cowes passing the jetty and beach at this very popular holiday destination. Upon reaching Cowes, set off heading for the Mornington Peninsula.
On the trip towards the popular coastline, take in views of Red Hill and its famous winery region, along with Arthurs Seat and then Port Phillip Bay. With the bay directly out the front of the window, turn towards the south and head for the township of Sorrento passing some of the popular seaside towns such as Dromana, Rosebud and Rye.
Continue south passing over the Sorrento surf beach then follow the coast around towards Cape Schank. On the way back to the airport, follow Phillip Island’s south coast passing Seal Rocks, Summerland Bay and the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Moto Grand Prix circuit.

Seal Rocks is the home to up to 20,000 Australian Fur Seals, the largest colony in Australia.

Turning inland straight across the centre if the Island you will fly over the vast farmland that is covers most of inland Phillip Island. Look left and right to get a birds eye view of each end of Phillip Island in the distance
On your way back to the airport, you will pass Pyramid Rock and the world famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Then it is back to heliport for photos with the pilots and helicopters.
