The Cheeky Fox Trail offers a full day out in the country that the whole family will enjoy. It includes a self-guided tour to a handpicked selection of three of Kinglake’s key attractions, followed by a hosted picnic in the paddock at Cheeky Fox Retreat.
Trail days are held once a month on set dates between November and April. Your guide for the day is a fun, activity-based Trail guidebook containing directions, maps, colour in pages, games and fun things to see and do at each stop.
After completing the Trail at your own pace (it is likely to take 1 – 1.5 hours), you’ll return to Cheeky Fox Retreat, where a fun picnic in the paddock will be waiting for you to enjoy, including a grazing platter for your group, paddock games and prizes. Drinks, including local beer and wine, are available to purchase from ‘The Cheeky Horse Float Bar’, a 1930’s horse float converted into a bar.
The Cheeky Fox Trail is accessible for people with mobility limitations via the use of a TrailRider All-Terrain Wheelchair, which they are pleased to offer as a service, so that all family members can enjoy the Trail experience.
