The Hive Gallery Ocean Grove

The Hive Gallery in Ocean Grove is an exciting arts space for the Bellarine Peninsula region, established in 2016.

Downstairs is the exclusive home of Willie Wildlife Sculptures. Known particularly for his bronze birdbaths, the full range of his freestanding sculptures such as brolgas, pelicans, giant snails, pears and apples are also exhibited. Will Wilson’s work is well known after 22 years experience sculpting in bronze, and annual exhibitions at the Chelsea Flower Show in the United Kingdom for 11 years. This included 2019, when he had the great honour of meeting Her Royal Highness, The Queen.

Upstairs features a growing collection of over 45 carefully selected Australian artists, with a greater local focus. Both emerging and established artists feature, with work including paintings, sculptures, ceramics and handcrafted furniture in a large, light-filled space that overlooks the treetops of the local nature reserve. The Middle Room Space features a changing exhibition each month so there is always something new.

After you have finished viewing the fantastic artwork, you can have something to eat or drink in the on-site cafe, open daily except Sundays.
