The Phoenix Trail celebrates creativity in East Gippsland with an arts trail of galleries and open studios ranging from Omeo to Bairnsdale to Mallacoota, all of whom were impacted by the bushfires of 2019/2020.

27 venues open their doors to showcase their arts and crafts, with world-class works ranging from traditional landscapes to award-winning pottery, jewellery, watercolour paintings, copper sculptures, Indigenous craft, photography and glassware.

The trail is designed so that visitors can drop in as their time allows. Come for a weekend in the High Country or a day in one place. Or spend a week following the whole trail. There is no end date – it is ongoing.

Come on the trail for a wonderful combination of the creativity of East Gippsland artists and the outstanding natural beauty of the Shire for a truly refreshing break.
