Wangaratta Childrens Garden

The Wangaratta Childrens Garden at Mitchell Avenue Reserve is now open and ready to enjoy.

The project was been identified by the community through prior engagement undertaken as part of the Mitchell Avenue Reserve Master Plan development. Following the endorsement of the Master Plan, the community identified a children’s garden as one of the highest priorities.

The garden focuses on several key elements, including:

– Sensory experiences
– Natural elements sympathetic to the existing vegetation and creek
– Unique artistic elements
– Island feels
– Ability to play/hide within the gardens
