Learn basic leathercraft skills in this three-hour, project-based workshop. Haylee will guide you through the techniques needed as you create your own leather wallet that’s totally compact, handy, and handsome.
Using locally sourced, Australian leather get familiar with leather hand-tools and techniques, this workshop will take you through the project from start to finish and you will go home with a finished piece that will keep your cards and cash safe for many years to come.
Along the way you will also gain some insight into the different types of leather, its structure and layers, find out the difference between full-grain and genuine leather, learn how to properly care for your leather items and little about the local leather industry and practices.
Suitable for beginners and those wanting to expand their leather-working skills or work on their stitching technique, this workshop will be fun, educational and rewarding. Make one for yourself or gift it to a loved one.
