A big-hearted Festival in the heart of Central Victoria, Bendigo Writers Festival is a multi-venue event with more than 100 writers held in the first week of May.
The home of the Festival is the heritage Capital on View Street, next door to the acclaimed Bendigo Art Gallery and in a precinct renowned for its cafes and restaurants.
The Festival in 2023 returns to its roots, with the super-popular pass option enabling festival-goers to choose their itinerary, as well as special events in the Golden Dragon Museum and the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion adding unique options to make the Festival weekend memorable.
