A big-hearted festival in the heart of Central Victoria.

Bendigo Writers Festival is four days from 4-7 May, packed with your choice of up to seven venues, featuring brilliant writers speaking on everything from food to fantasy, history to politics, culture, sport and wellbeing.

In 2023, we’ve added a dedicated children’s program in one of the beautiful heritage buildings on View Street, where everything is in easy walking distance to make your festival visit wonderfully relaxing as well as thoroughly invigorating.
