Have you ever wondered how native Australian plants have inspired the modern plate and palate? Awaken your senses and explore the delights of bush foods and stories on a guided walk with a passionate First Nations guide. Discover the thriving culture of the First Nations people and their connection to plants, and learn how plants within the Gardens have been traditionally used and continue to be used around the world today.

Finish off with a delicious tasting of foods inspired by the native plants seen on your walk, developed and prepared by First Nations trainee chefs.

Presented by Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, Charcoal Lane social enterprise restaurant, William Angliss Institute and YIRRAMBOI Festival.
