Byron Bay’s Barrio Takes Over ST. ALi Kitchen – Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

A shining light of the thriving Byron Bay restaurant scene, chef Francisco Smoje from Barrio will be bringing the smoke and char of authentic Argentinian barbecue to ST. ALi for one night only during Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

In conjunction with Traeger Grills and ST. ALi head chef Daniel Dobra, expect Barrio’s signature wood-fired and charcoal-grilled whole meat and vegetables.

Argentinian-born Smoje’s cooking is authentic, vibrant and bold yet familiar and comforting; beautiful to look at, yet close to its original form. Here’s a rare chance for a close-up look at what’s made Barrio such a destination.

With pisco sours served on arrival, the Barrio Feed Me Menu highlights Smoje’s specialities.
