Como Fashion Quarter is an immersive exhibition of style and design that unpacks the polish of fashion photography, exposing the invisible staging, production and process behind an image.
In this exhibition four artists each with a distinctive approach will transform a quarter of Como House, merging the National Trust Costume Collection with contemporary practice. These artists include:
Kiri-Una Brito Meumann – artist. Kiri-Una Brito Meumann is an artist with an interest in fashion. Australian Vogue describes her as an influencer who merges luxury fashion with high art aesthetics.
Stuart Walford – fashion stylist. Stuart Walford works in fashion styling across runway, editorial and onsite installation., He has a refined, considered and contemporary approach to the way he displays fashion.
Thalea Michos-Vellis – fashion stylist. Thalea Michos-Vellis works both in front of and behind the camera as a stylist. Her approach is cool and off-beat, delivering a freshness and novelty to the mix.
Marc Wasiak – art director / production designer. Marc Wasiak has been working in fashion for over 20 years, with his depth of experience and extravagant production values he brings drama and vibrancy to the project.
