Free Summer Guided Walks

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

10 Mar 2019 to 27 Apr 2019

Perfect for the whole family, our guided bushwalking program allows you to learn about the history of Mt Hotham from the golden era through to the the resort we know today. If you are lucky you may even spot some of the local wildlife along the way, including the mountain Pygymy Possum – unique to the Australian Alps.

A Mt Hotham guide will lead you on the walk, pointing out noteworthy features and points of interest, and also providing information about the local flora and fauna.

All of the walks are between three and five kilometres in length, and are designated at Grade 2-3 according to the Australian Walking Track Grading System.

No bookings are required for these walks, just turn up at the meeting point as specified in the information on our website. Wear sturdy shoes, BYO water and snacks. For updates about the walks, please keep an eye on our Facebook page.
