Gatherings 2022 – Great Western

The towns of Great Western, Stawell, Halls Gap and St Arnaud come alive this May and June. See the art and cultural offerings each town has to offer in a new way through imagery, augmented reality, projections, light and audio. Northern Grampians Shire Council in partnership with ACT Natimuk showcase a visual and sensory treat accessible to all.

Gatherings 2022 – Great Western is ‘New Vintage’ – A fresh, outdoor, big-screen event. Friday 24th June sees the launching of the New Vintage exhibition. The exhibition captures and showcases 12 Great Western characters involved in wine-making through photography and story.

The exhibition, an exciting pop-up light-box exhibition will happen at Seppelts, 36 Cemetery Road, Great Western photos of local characters in the wine industry followed by the just released, award-winning film Blind Ambition. 

Saturday 25th opens with a big screen event showing the just released, award winning film Blind Ambition in the grounds of Best’s Winery.
Winner of the Audience Award at Tribeca Film Festival and Sydney Film Festival, Blind Ambition is the inspiring story of four Zimbabwean refugees who conquered the odds to become South Africa’s top sommeliers.
