Hypro Supreme Australian Sheepdog Championship

The Hypro Supreme Australian Sheepdog Championship promises nine days of thrilling competition. Highlighting this year’s festivities is the highly anticipated Trans-Tasman Test, where the best of Australia and New Zealand’s sheepdog talent clash in a battle of wits and strategy – the Wayleggo Cup.

This is a great family event, and your dogs are most welcome to come along on a lead too!

Here is a run down of what is happening across the 9 days:

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th – the Ted Gaby Interstate Challenge – the sheepdog worlds equivalent of the State of Origin – 6 states, 3 reps from each state, 3 rounds. This competition will determine the Aussie team to take on the Kiwis.

Monday 9th to Friday 13th – the Hypro Supreme Australian Championships – 2 arenas, loads of action.

Friday 13th – the first round of the Australia versus New Zealand Test – the Wayleggo Cup.

Saturday 14th – the Top 20 runoff in the Supreme Championship and the second round of the Wayleggo Cup.

Sunday 15th – the third round of the Wayleggo Cup – will the Aussies defeat the Kiwis? Also on Sunday – the Improver Final and the Supreme Top 10 to determine the 2024 Supreme Champion.
