HG Play: NGV Kids on Tour

NGV Kids on Tour 2023 shares popular activities from the 2022 NGV kids exhibition ‘Making Art: Imagine Everything is Real’, which celebrated the work of some of the most innovative European artists of the twentieth century including Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Natalia Goncharova and Remedios Varo.

Ages four to 12, 10:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

Book a spot in the session that suits and choose the activity that you love!

Make a Sculpture; Take shapes, decorate and turn them into a three-dimensional table top sculpture. Make a Collage; Experiment with colour and shape and cut and paste to make a colourful collage. Make a poem/portrait; Make a portrait of a special person in your life and write a poem about them. Make a creature; Collage images to create a surreal creature. Just Imagine! Hone your creativity by imagining a scene, object or creature in the blobs on the page then transform it through drawing.
