Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

3 Nov 2019

Uncover the incredible hidden world of insects as you and your little ones explore Melbourne Gardens in search of critters that call the Gardens home.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll set off with ecologist Dr Luis Mata from RMIT University, who will share fascinating stories about the insects you discover along the way. Delve into the integral role that insects play in spreading seeds, pollinating flowers and supporting biodiversity. At the end of the workshop, you’ll get to take home an Indigenous plant to encourage insects to make themselves at home in your garden.
